The EPGPCE (Etablissement public du Grand Palais des Champs-Élysées) which runs the building has the status of an industrial and commercial public enterprise (EPIC) under French commercial law. With a staff of 27, EPGPCE is governed by a board of directors and is under the aegis of the Ministry of Culture and Communication.
