Season 3 - 2010/2011

The first two seasons of Tuesdays at the Grand Palais proved immensely popular, and our lecture and debate cycles are back in the projection room for the third year running, in partnership with the publishers Presses universitaires de France.
Every Tuesday, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm, we invited you to attend our public lectures and debates on a wide range of topical cultural themes, free of charge. The guest panelists are artists, intellectuals, academics and specialists, and the sessions are chaired by Arnaud Laporte, radio broadcasting journalist at France Culture. After the panelists, the debate is thrown open to the floor for the last half-hour.

The 2010 - 2011 season starts with the following cycles

Cycle: photography
Tuesday October 12: Photos on social networks: are we all exhibitionists?
Tuesday October 19: Are we manipulated by digital photography?

Cycle: sport
Tuesday November 9:
Does sport have issues with homosexuality?
Tuesday November 16: Is sport good for your health?
Tuesday November 23: Are the Gods of sport really Gods?

Cycle: youth
November 30:

December 7: What exactly is a young person?
