Season 1 - 2008/2009

Since November 2008, the Grand Palais and the publisher Presses universitaires de France (PUF) have been organising weekly lecture/debates on topics of contemporary interest at 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday evening in the Grand Palais.
To mark the 60th anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights, the Grand Palais and PUF teamed up to organise a cycle of lecture/debates focusing on this historic event. Open to all and free of charge, the first Tuesdays in the Grand Palais were an immediate success. Since then, they have become a regular fixture, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. every week except during school holidays. The venue is the new projection room in the Grand Palais, and the discussions, chaired by a moderator, feature prestigious guest speakers.

The 2008/2009 season of Tuesdays in the Grand Palais ended on June 9. We should like to thank you for your loyalty and look forward to seeing you again after the summer break for a new season of lively round table and public debate cycles on a whole new series of themes.
We will be positing the programme for the second season of Tuesdays in the Grand Palais on
www.grandpalais.fr in September.
