Visitors to the Nave on the 6th European Museum Night found all their five senses being solicited by the NoctamBulle event featuring the combined pleasures of scented bubbles and musical soundscapes.

On May 15 2010, to celebrate the 6th European Museum Night, the Grand Palais threw all its doors wide open from 7:00 p.m. till 1:00 a.m., offering visitors a first-ever opportunity to walk freely through the whole building.
Visitors were entranced by NoctamBulle, a magical event staged in the Nave. The perfumer Francis Kurkdjian created a collection of bubbles combining floral, fruit, herbal and honey fragrances. Bubble-blowing machines filled the air with thousands of bubbles, floating in the celestial, magical soundscape created specially by Béatrice Ardisson.
NoctamBulle was a huge success: 23,000 visitors fell under the spell. Children and parents (reeling back the years) could not resist the temptation to burst bubbles in their hands and try to guess the floral composition of Francis Kurkdjian's fragrances.
After the fun in the Nave, visitors could go on to walk through the Turner and Way of the Tao exhibitions in the Galeries nationales.
