Acquisitions of art works

Museum collections are never fixed entities. Every year new works of art are acquired and exhibited to the delight of our visitors. Rest assured, culture is alive and kicking! We are working energetically with French museums to enrich the national heritage, covering every aspect: managing commissions, expert staff for acquisitions, administration of donations and legacies, and seeking funding. But we are not averse to a little extra help …
Reaching Out! Cranach the Elder at the Louvre
To be more specific, our work has made it possible to purchase a painting for the Louvre by Cranach the Elder, entitled The Three Graces, dated 1531 … for the modest sum of € 4 million ! So it’s up to us all to take advantage of it now.
