Entrecoupant les souvenirs de ses expériences new-yorkaises avec Robert Mapplethorpe de chansons acoustiques et de lectures de son récit autobiographique Just Kids, la chanteuse a fait souffler un vent d'émotion parmi les nombreux visiteurs rassemblés dans l'auditorium du Grand Palais.
