Le saviez-vous ? Le salon d’Automne était propice aux rencontres ! C’est ainsi que le capitaine Charles de Gaulle engagea la conversation avec sa future épouse.

Salon d’Automne 1920 : Alors qu'il est en permission à Paris, le capitaine Charles de Gaulle se rend au Salon et y fait la connaissance de sa future épouse, mademoiselle Yvonne Vendroux.

 

Si plusieurs versions sur leur rencontre coexistent, une seule information fait l'unanimité : les futurs promis se sont parlés pour la première fois devant "La Femme en bleu au collier rouge" de Kees van Dongen.
