Calouste Gulbenkian : un homme, une fondation

D'origine arménienne, Calouste Gulbenkian est un personnage aux multiples facettes. Homme d’affaires internationalement renommé, il est aussi un collectionneur avisé. Quand il décède au Portugal en 1955, il lègue ses œuvres à une fondation qui porte son nom. Elle reçoit pour mission de défendre et diffuser la culture portugaise et, dans ce cadre, est aujourd'hui l'une des plus grandes ambassadrices de l'œuvre d'Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso.
