Book your tickets for the i need to live exhibition by Juergen Teller at the Grand Palais Éphémère

6 November 2023
Tickets are now available for Juergen Teller's biggest solo exhibition to date! To be discovered from 16 December at the Grand Palais Éphémère.

This spectacular exhibition is the artist's most important to date: soon to be on view are 1000 personal and commissioned works, instantly recognisable images, new series of photographs, as well as videos and installations.

Throughout his 35-year career, Juergen Teller has been recognised for his non-conformist style. His works are characterised by characters that blend seriousness and intimacy, often tinged with humour and self-mockery. The title of the exhibition, i need to live, refers to the artist's feelings about the significant events that have shaped his life, sometimes tragically.

The artist approaches these subjects in the same way as he does photography: in a direct, realistic style that is uniquely his own. Through his unique images, Teller celebrates the value of life, while acknowledging the fragility of human existence.

An exhibition organised by the Réunion des musées nationaux - Grand Palais, with the support of Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Tickets may only be purchased on site via smartphone, subject to availability. Some of the works on display may offend the sensibilities of younger visitors.
