Welcome Léon Monet, the famous painter's brother, in a dedicated exhibition at Musée du Luxembourg

Géraldine Lefebvre, curator of the exhibition dedicated to Léon Monet at Musée du Luxembourg, guides you in the museum for you to discover the forgotten brother of Claude Monet... A short introduction of a must-see exhibition, up until July, 16th.

The exhibition brings together around a hundred works, among them paintings and drawings by Monet, Sisley, Pissarro and Renoir, as well as books of colours, fabric swatches, Japanese prints, archive documents and a host of family photographs. It writes Léon Monet firmly into Claude’s biography and demonstrates the two brothers’ shared interest in colour !
