Wim Wenders influencé par Hopper

Les toiles d’Edward Hopper ont été une véritable source d’inspiration pour le cinéma. Parmi les cinéastes inconditionnels du peintre, Wim Wenders fait figure de favori. Le réalisateur allemand raconte dans « La toile blanche d’Edward Hopper » de Jean-Pierre Devillers comment l’artiste a influencé l’ensemble de son œuvre notamment dans Paris, Texas (1984) et dans La fin de la violence (1997).
