Frida Kahlo est probablement la figure féminine la plus connue de l’histoire de l’art mexicain, mais elle n’est pas une exception. L’exposition consacre une importante section aux femmes artistes, intitulée "Les Femmes fortes", dans laquelle on peut découvrir, parmi d’autres, Nahui Olin (1893-1978) et Rosa Rolanda (1895-1970).
