The Palais des enfants invites transparency for its first exhibition! A playful, sensory journey to experience with the whole family, where artistic works and scientific experiments play with light to awaken the curiosity and wonder of the very young.
In an imaginary universe, designed to arouse curiosity and amuse, young and old wander freely from a shimmering ice palace to a cave of crystalline treasures, venturing sometimes into a mysterious forest, sometimes towards a radiant sky or the depths of a multicolored ocean.
The arts of sculpture, printmaking or photography dialogue with science, via interactive and sensory devices. Between 19th-century creations and contemporary works, immersive works such as those by Dan Graham and Soo Sunny Park, ideal for discovering in groups, and more introspective creations such as those by Patrick Neu and Agathe May, the exhibition offers an original exploration that renews our perception of transparency and light.
Children and accompanying adults experiment with the multiple nuances of transparency, exchange observations of translucency to darkness, and marvel at the riches of nature as much as those of know-how along a journey punctuated by playful spaces and contemplation.
The exhibition continues with an activity book, a podcast about transparency... and soon, mediation appointments with a series of events to go even further!
