Nous avons décrypté pour vous cette incroyable technique indienne de sertissage des pierres, qui veut dire "or" en Hindi !
Cette technique d'incrustation, propre aux Moghols, consiste à utiliser un or extrêmement pur (24 carats), en feuilles de quelques microns repliées sur elles-mêmes et amalgamées pour sertir les pierres. Le matériau d'incrustation est tellement malléable qu'il peut épouser tout type de surfaces et ainsi accueillir des pierres de formes variées.
