Ce qui me touche dans un chantier tient à sa nature éphémère — il est voué à disparaître, et s’efface à mesure qu’il progresse — et au fait que l’on puisse y observer ce qui change et se transforme, ce qui advient. En ce sens, un chantier brasse des temporalités multiples, du présent, du passé, du futur, et il a immédiatement à voir avec la mémoire. ll me semble alors que la chronique, comme écriture dans le temps, comme écriture au jour le jour, est la forme littéraire la plus stimulante pour capter ce mouvement.
