As part of the Saison Méditerranée 2026, in partnership with the Institut Français, the Grand Palais transforms into a true crossroads of cultures and sounds. From legendary raï to the hottest electro beats, enjoy a vibrant evening with Acid Arab, El Besta and Aïta mon amour.
On Saturday, July 4, the Grand Palais will be dedicated to the spirit of the Mediterranean. Following a parade of cars by visual artist Mohamed Bourouissa, the Nave will come alive for a major celebratory evening devoted to oriental music, bringing together artists of all generations and styles.
From 9pm to 2am, you're invited on a journey through the music of North Africa, past and present. The group El Besta opens the festivities with a tribute to the great names of Algerian raï, followed by the Moroccan electro-rap duo Aïta mon amour and then a DJ set by Acid Arab, precursors of oriental electro, accompanied by their guests.

El Besta
Created in 2021 in Mostaganem, a port city in the Oranais region, the group performs an acoustic raï that brings together tradition and modernity, sublimated by Sofiane Merabet's incandescent voice and Kiss Laredj's haunting accordion.
Aïta mon amour
This duo is made up of Widad Mjama and Khalil EPI. Widad, a pioneer of Moroccan rap and a graduate of the Casablanca Conservatory, is passionate about ancestral oral traditions. Khalil, a Tunisian multi-instrumentalist, fuses classical Arabic music, jazz and world sounds.
Acid Arab
Considered a pioneer of electro-oriental music in France, Acid Arab was formed in 2012 by two DJs, Guido Minisky and Hervé Carvalho, immediately joined by Pierrot Casanova and Nicolas Borne, followed by keyboardist Kenzi Bourras.
