Experience the magic of the festive season at the Grand Palais: the world’s largest indoor ice rink is back! From December 12, 2026, to January 6, 2027, enjoy a unique experience beneath the monument’s majestic glass roof with Le Grand Palais de Glace.
The Grand Palais is dressed for winter! During the festive season, the monument’s Nave is transformed into a vast 2,700 m² ice rink, enhanced this year by a monumental moon suspended beneath its glass roof. Whether you’re an experienced skater, a beginner, or just curious, lace up your skates and enjoy an exceptional experience. Younger visitors can also enjoy a dedicated area where they can safely discover the joys of skating.
During the day, natural light illuminates the ice and reveals the full beauty of the Nave. When night falls, light shows, DJ sets, and a festive atmosphere transform the ice rink into a veritable frosty dance floor.
After all that skating, it’s time for some comfort! Enjoy the delicious food and drinks available around the rink: crêpes, waffles, and hot chocolate will delight young and old alike.
New this year: "Le Megève", a mountain-top restaurant located on the Balcon de l’Horloge, overlooking the ice rink, offering a raclette experience.
The programme also welcomes a new artistic direction led by Cathy Guetta, with a series of immersive, festive events designed to transform the Nave as night falls. Music, scenography and a curated programme of events will bring a whole new dimension to the Grand Palais de Glace evening sessions, placing celebration at the very heart of the experience.
With family, friends, or as a couple, Le Grand Palais de Glace promises magical moments and unforgettable memories beneath the Grand Palais’s glass roof.
