An exceptional collection revealed
For the first time, the exhibition Dessins sans limite drives you into the heart of the Centre Pompidou's exceptional graphic art cabinet collection. With over 35,000 drawings, this is one of the world's most important collections of works on paper.
Until March 15, 2026, over 300 works by 120 artists are brought together to reveal how drawing was profoundly reinvented during the 20th century. Fragile, inventive, free: it is shown here in all its forms. In no chronological order, the exhibition offers a sensitive and subjective exploration, where works follow and respond to each other in a domino effect. Structured around four main sequences - study, tell, trace, animate - it invites us to take a fresh look at a constantly evolving medium.
