From June 2 to September 6, 2026, the Grand Palais will host a major exhibition dedicated to Leandro Erlich, the first of its kind in France: come stroll through an immersive experience, test your sense of orientation, and become a part of what you see!

Reality and perception are inseparable to me. I find it interesting that most of what we call reality is actually something that society has constructed.

Leandro Erlich

Blurring the line between optical illusions and real-life situations, Leandro Erlich challenges the way we perceive our surroundings. His installations play with our certainties, to the point of blurring the line between what is and what appears to be.

As part of the Grand Palais d’été program, Argentine artist Leandro Erlich presents an experience that challenges our perception of reality. His works, presented as a journey through 14 monumental installations, transform the space into a realm of visual and physical experimentation.

Levitating boats, inverted architecture, suspended clouds, and tilted buildings: each installation relies on illusions, mirrors, and perspective. But here, nothing is hidden. The mechanisms are visible and intentional, leaving it up to you to understand, test, and navigate the works.

Conceived in collaboration with curator Fabrice Bousteau, the exhibition makes physical movement a central element. You don’t just look at the works: come activate them and experience them for yourself!
