This summer, the Grand Palais celebrates the diversity of Mediterranean cultures through a festive and artistic program combining remembrance, contemporary creation and a big party under its glass roof.

For the Saison Méditerranée 2026, supported by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture, implemented by the Institut français, the Grand Palais and the Institut du Monde Arabe are joining forces for an exceptional Grand Palais Méditerranée program.

A film-opera, a parade of artistic floats, an evening with the finest in raï and oriental electro make up this itinerary, which echoes the five major themes of the Saison Méditerranée 2026: plural identities, contemporary spiritualities, the collective history of migrations, speculative utopias and the construction of narratives.

This initiative highlights the richness of the Mediterranean artistic scenes and promotes the dynamics carried by youth and diasporas. It supports creation and the circulation of ideas, while encouraging cooperation between civil societies, particularly with Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt and Lebanon.
