This autumn, there's no need to choose between art, games and discovery: the Grand Palais brings it all together in one place. So get your curious, dreamy, playful selves ready... and set a course for a great family vacation in the heart of Paris! Here's a sneak preview of what's in store.
On October 18 and 19, the Grand Palais celebrates everyday architecture. Guided tours of the building (booking required), Kapla challenges, dance workshops for the youngest visitors: there's something for everyone. An ideal opportunity to experience heritage in a different way, as a family and free of charge.
At the moment, the exhibition dedicated to Niki de Saint Phalle, Jean Tinguely and Pontus Hulten celebrates boldness and freedom. Parents and children, discover the story of a mythical pair of artists, with their humor, passion and inventions. Take advantage of guided family tours, too, for a moment of play and exchange.
Eager to unlock the secrets of the Grand Palais? Take your family on an interactive guided tour (only in French). Accompanied by a tour guide, you'll discover the history, architecture and transformations of this emblematic monument, while playing games and sharing ideas. An experience designed for children aged 7 and over, transforming discovery into a real moment of adventure.
Because vacations are also made for having fun, the Grand Palais offers a multitude of fun activities, to try out online or within the monument.
On-site, at the games counter of the Salon Seine, over a hundred original games await you: puzzles, board games, seek-and-find, chronological games or around the works... A free space accessible to all, for hours of fun and discovery. Thursday October 23, the Salon Seine will be exceptionally closed. Thank you for your understanding.
At home or on their way to the Grand Palais, children can also have fun online: méli-mélo, dominoes, comic book creation... so many games to discover the monument in a fun and interactive way, behind their screen.
