At the Musée du Luxembourg, the Man Ray and Fashion exhibition, interrupted by the sec- ond lockdown, explored the artist s work from a fashion perspective for the first time. The digi- tal programme Man Ray et Moi (Man Ray and I) launched this spring was a compilation of the testimonies of 30 admirers of Man Ray s work. It enabled Internet users to plunge into the world of the exhibition before it could open to the public.
At the Grand Palais, event programming was hard hit by the health crisis. Despite numerous cancel- lations and postponements, several events were held nonetheless, including the ChangeNOW summit in which the Rmn - Grand Palais took part by proposing a round table debate on the link between ecology and temporary exhibitions. After Art Paris and the International Rare Book & Fine Art Fair, the nave hosted "WANTED! in October. "WANTED! is a treasure hunt celebrat- ing the art and architecture of the monument, or- ganized in partnership with the Perrotin Gallery:
hidden in the nave were twenty works of art wait- ing to be discovered by the visitors.
2020 was a digital year with art and cultural edu- cation programmes being transformed to digital format, including some Histoires d art activities and a new partnership forged recently with the Culture and Hospital Association. A new MOOC course entitled Couleurs : bleu, jaune, rouge dans l Art (Colours: blue, yellow, red in art) sup- plemented the existing offer and was taken by close to 29,000 participants.
