HISTOIRES D ART À GONESSE A PROGRAMME OF ART HISTORY ACTIVITIES FOR THE TOWN'S INHABITANTS
This programme is part of a twinning policy supported by the prefecture of the Île-de-France region, between zones de sécurité prioritaire (priority safety zones) and cultural public establishments. Between March 2017 and June 2021, the town of Gonesse and the Rmn Grand Palais joined forces to organise introductory and cre- ative art workshops open to all residents and run by artists from many of the town's structures. The people of Gonesse were also invited to explore the collections of the Musée National de la Renaissance d Écouen and the exhibitions at the Grand Palais. 740 Gonesse residents participated in one of the activities proposed during the seasons, i.e. movement in art (October 2019 to February 2020) and colour in art (April to December 2020). The programme reached a mainly younger, non-school audi- ence (mostly aged under 30), which was one of its aims.
