HISTOIRES D ART DANS LES MICRO-FOLIES FUN AND PARTICIPATIVE EVENTS
As part of the promotion of the network of Micro-Folies requested by the Ministry of Culture, the Établissement Public du Parc et de la Grande Halle de la Villette and the Rmn Grand Palais joined forces to offer four events entitled Histoires d Art dans les Micro-Folies . Three of them took place in 2020: In the Micro-Folies of Brunoy in February, Colombelles in July and Noisy-le-Sec in October 2020 around the themes of portraiture and landscape in art. The activities were planned to take place both during school time and during the holidays and were aimed at pupils in schools and in extra-curricular activities and individuals. Workshops based on educational packag- es, informal discussions with an art historian, and prac- tical art workshops held by artists all featured over the fortnight. Outings (to the Grand Palais, the Palace of Versailles or to discover a landscape) also featured in the programme. 850 Micro-Folies users participated in these events, in- cluding 320 pupils. It was a revelation to all participants, who enjoyed the activities on offer and were left wanting to return to the Micro-Folie and visit museums. These Rmn-Grand Palais interventions in the Micro- Folies for children and young adults benefited from the support of the Ardian Foundation.
HISTOIRES D ART SOLIDARITÉ A PROGRAMME THAT COMBINES DISCOVERING ART AND LEARNING FRENCH
Around the concept of landscape, the Rmn - Grand Palais together with plastic artists devised actions in- tended for asylum seekers and people in precarious situations accompanied by two partner associations, the Habitat et Humanisme movement and the Aurore association. From October to December 2020, visits, workshops and video conference meetings provided op- portunities for participants to discuss and share in both written and oral French. Over the weeks, 74 participants shown their creativity by building landscapes by draw- ing, photographing and even glueing them together. New forms of remote workshops were tried out reaching out to groups far away from the Grand Palais both geo- graphically or for health crisis reasons. This programme was supported by the Total Foundation the La Poste corporate foundation and Milk for Good.
The mission of the Rmn - Grand Palais is to make its exhibitions accessible to all audiences. Thanks to spon- sorship support, the Histoires d art Autrement pro- gramme intended for sufferers of Alzheimer s disease and the Histoires d art à Toucher programme for peo- ple with visual disabilities were pursued and adapted to the health crisis context in 2020. Among other things, video conferences were developed specifically for the Histoires d art Autrement programme in order to maintain a link with participants. The programme for sufferers of Alzheimer s disease was supported by the Swiss Life Foundation and actions for persons suffering from visual disabilities were supported by Matmut.
