SUPPORTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE DIVISIONS AT THE RMN GRAND PALAIS BY PROVIDING AND IMPLEMENTING MODERN AND EFFICIENT IS
The IS projects that support the transformation and de- velopment of the establishment's competitive activities attained decisive milestones in 2020 despite the lock- downs, unlocking, closures and reopening of our sites, requiring numerous projects to be rapidly reconfigured.
For the Sales and Marketing Department:
The required software and hardware solutions for the project to replace the SCORE sales and collection management tool were delivered. Unfortunately the deployment of pilot sites had to be suspended due to the closure of our shops. This deployment will re- sume in 2021 to fit out all sales sites. This new solution also includes management of admissions (ticketing) for SCN museums as an alternative to the current solution. These sites can be deployed as soon as the sales sites are fitted out
The project to overhaul the B2B e-commerce site was launched during the Spring lockdown and has contin- ued since, with the goal being to go live in the Spring of 2021
The B2C e-commerce site continued to benefit from numerous upgrades and improvements to support the strong growth in online sales. This site is essential to maintaining a strong presence for the Rmn - Grand Palais and to boost income in the current difficult context.
For the photo agency, the project to implement a new management tool made progress, with a view to a launch in May 2021. The future INMEDIA system will cover the management of the documentary collections, their sales and their publication online, by replacing the current tool which has become obsolete.
The project to replace the BtoC customer relation- ship management tool to better implement our policy to reach out to a broader audience and develop the Rmn-Grand Palais brand continued to advance despite the difficult conditions. The new solution will be rolled out in February 2021. The main goals of this solution
are to improve BtoC marketing but also to address the needs of the BtoB business and communication (sponsorship) relationship.
The support departments of the Rmn Grand Palais also benefited from several IS developments to help improve their efficiency and continue the digitisation of their processes. For the Human Resources Department, the new interview portal (career interviews and annual performance evaluations) was opened in May and was used to run interviews in 2020 without any loss of func- tionality. Financial functions continued to benefit from regular developments, including a number of advances in the implementation of Chorus Pro. Internal collabora- tive tools were also upgraded with the coming of a new, more user-friendly, dynamic and communicating intranet. It is expected to be open to all in early 2021. It is based on the same technology as the Rmn - Grand Palais ESN, which will facilitate combining the different means of communicating information within the establishment.
Finally, in 2020 the IS Department continued to build its steering and reporting capacities by further developing its BI (data warehousing for the establishment) main- ly to offer the enhanced reporting offered by the new SCORE and INMEDIA solutions. It also remained highly involved in implementing the new regulations and leg- islation within its scope, particularly new standards for checkout and payment terminal systems and compliance with GDPR.
